Proactima is continuously working to be at the forefront of development. We are involved in a number of R&D projects for industry as well as the Norwegian Research Council. An agreeement between the University of Stavanger/IRIS and Proactima was signed in October 2005, to ensure a long-term professional commitment regarding further development of risk management and societal risk disciplines. UiS/IRIS is the leading Norwegian academic institution within these disciplines, with an extensive research activity including more than 20 PhD scholarships.

Proactima regulary sponsors parts of PhD scholarship at UiS. At any given time several students are undertaking their master theses related to our projects and supervised by our staff.
