Proactima was founded by Hermann Steen Wiencke and Richard Heyerdahl. The first two years the growth was moderate. In early 2006 there were seven employees, by 2011 we are more than 130 experienced persons with specialist competence in at least one of the company's service areas had started working for Proactima.

The last two years some of the growth has taken place in new companies, initiated and partly owned by Proactima. Examples of such companies are Proactima Learning, Proactima Project Management Group and Proactima Project Services.

This gives us the possibility to offer our clients a unique range of services. We can therefore meet the needs from clients ranging from road authorities, building and construction industry to oil and gas authorities and businesses.
